WHAT'S IN HER BAG
Peggy's top 10 essentials (fall 2007)

1. Shinzi Katoh's canvas tote.
I have many canvas totes. I avoid
bags (paper or plastic) when I am out shopping. 2 Oil
blotting paper. This really
keeps my oily face under control. 3 Business
cards and cardholder from
Figments. One should carry her/his business/calling
cards around. You might meet someone important
while strolling around the streets. With
a card in hand, it shows that you are always
PREPARED 4.
Elyse Allen's fingerless
gloves.
I want to buy Elyse's entire stock. Her color
selection is amazing, and I always feel fabulous
while wearing them. 5.
Lenox calculator with Euro
conversion feature: Many of the products
Figments carry are from Europe and Asia.
I am obsessed over tracking on the currency
exchange rates.
6. Sinzi Katoh's
trekking water bottle. A
perfect reason to stop buying bottled water.
7. Scarf by Jeung-Hwa
Park I carry scarf/shawl in my bag
at all times, regardless of the weather.
(I carry silk or light cotton shawls in summer)
I think Jeung-Hwa is a textile genius. Her
scarf makes such great fashion statement.
8. Junk-pad by In Sophie's
Bag for note taking.
If I don't write things down, don't count
on me remembering it. 9.
Recife roller ball pen, a well-made
and beautiful writing instrument.
10. I carry measuring
tape where ever I go.
When I am out shopping for furniture or working
on print project, it comes in handy.
One thing is not featured here -- a pack of letterpress notecards. If I have a moment to sit down while I am out, I try to write a note to my friends or patron.
